If you hadn’t mentioned that flower wasn’t really that blue, I wouldn’t have known. Nice composition.

Learning how to use in camera focus stacking. Handheld 40-150mm with 16mm extension tube.
Mexican Bush Sage. 150mm, F4, 1/160s
Also with the 40-150mm and 16mm extension tube. Just a single shot, no focus stacking.
Geranium. 150mm, F7.1, 1/1600s
Looks like you are enjoying your 90mm
Do / did you have the 60mm macrro?
If so, how are you finding any differences?
I was wondering how much difference in working distance you get at say 0.4 to 0.8 times magnification. I have read that there isn’t much when you get to 1:1
Hi Stephen
I do own the 60mm macro bit i haven’t compared the two lenses side by side. What I prefer in the 90mm is the angle of view and the longer working distance for average macro shots. The high magnification images are still to be made as I am waiting for appropriate occasions.
Sorry about that but more images will follow.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I look forward to seeing your future posts.
At last, the Snake’s Head Fritillaries (Fritillaria meleagris) are blooming again in our garden
