I will state I cheated and copied the text of the lenses from another post as it was easier than retyping on my phone :joy:

I’ve had others over the years but only this right now. It’s a good blend. Considering a small, fast, wide prime, like a 17 or 20mm, but haven’t done anything there yet. Just browsing right now.

They’re mostly in boxes.

I’m living in my step-daughter’s sewing room while we wait for our ADU to be finished.

Then, they’ll all go in a nice china cabinet, where I can see them all!

That will be a nice big cabinet with a special display :-)) Everything in the USA seems bigger than in my little crowded island :-((

That will be a nice big cabinet…

Sitting in the back of my pickup truck for over six months now… which was when the builder said our new home would be done… :frowning:

Only the top part. I let the ReStore keep the bottom to sell separately.

Everything in the USA seems bigger than in my little crowded island

Cool! Which island?

I like islands. I spent my last fifteen years on an island that was under 20km long. But then, circumstances made me move to a small city. Moved from a big farm on a small island to my step-daughter’s sewing room. So I’m trying to make the best of it.

Here is the previous incantation, which I sold when I moved last year. But I’m not going to have enough room for a floor-standing, so I’m going to hang the new one off the wall.

My current list (though of the cameras only the OM-1 gets serious use)

Olympus E-PM1
Olympus OM-D E-M1 mark ii
OM Systems OM-1

M.Zuiko ED 12-40mm 1:2.8
M.Zuiko ED 14-42mm iir 1:3.5-5.6
M.Zuiko ED 75-300mm 1:4.8-6.7
M.Zuiko ED 8mm 1:1.8 fisheye
M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm 1:4.0-5.6

OM Systems wifi remote shutter release

The 40-150mm is the latest addition. A cheap purchase, not weather sealed, but rather good results (IMHO) so far.

I don’t usually reply to myself but an update is in order

The GX9 is gone. I loved the GX9 except that my aging eyes couldn’t cope with the awful - and dim - EVF. I initially replaced it with really cheap EM-5 II in virtually “as new” condition which has a lovely bright EVF but I really wanted a “rangefinder”-style body with a decent EVF… On a whim I bought a nice used PEN-F that is arriving today. I know the PEN-F well as I had one a few tears ago so I know I’ll have the same love-hate relationship I have with all Olympus bodies. The E-M5 II will stay of course, invaluable for use with the 12-45 in typical Lancashire weather (wet!).

The Panasonic 12-60 is also gone, replaced with a Panasonic 14-45 that is in a different league as far as image quality goes - and it was dirt cheap despite its pristine condition. The G100+14-45 is a superb lightweight combination that will get a lot of use. If the GX9 had the same EVF as the G100 I would never have parted with it; it’s nothing like as good as an OLED EVF but it’s big, bright and very usable.

Finally I also added a really cheap used Samyang 7.5 fisheye (£65!), another lens I’ve owned before. I think I’m done for now…

I also shoot with a bunch of adapted film camera lenses.

My 3-month update. A couple more primes and the 35-100 lead the pack of changes. Considering what was in my cart, this isn’t too huge…

I also am receiving an a57 soon, to make use of my lonely Minolta AF lenses.

Panasonic G9
9mm f/1.7
15mm f/1.7
25mm f/1.4 (original)
42.5mm f/1.7
Sigma 60mm f/2.8
14-140mm f/3.5 to (whatever)
100-300mm

I believe that’s all. But if a G9 mk ii comes out with PDAF I will trade in the G9 and get the G9 mk ii as quickly as I possibly can.

I’m a recent switcher to M43.
